I’m excited about my new local series. Since I can’t get back toFrance for awhile, I’m looking around here with a different perspective. My French series has changed the way I see. Perhaps I’m looking for the French flavor, and I certainly found it at Pascal Rigo’s Boulangerie onPine Street. The beautiful French blue exterior lead me into an authentic French bakery – traditional pastries, Cannèles, Macarons, organic breads, quiches… My French mother, Yvonne, and I began our attempt to try them all – heavenly. The friendly Sofian served us with a smile.Merci. And several folks recognized Bruce, a local customer. Two clues that it’s in San Franciscoare the parking meter, and the woman drinking her latté on the sidewalk.
